Gateway
Services was formed in 1969 and incorporated in 1991.
It was started with one broker and
a small staff. From that point we have grown into a full
service
company with a production staff of twenty-five full time
employees.
The company, which was started in San Diego with one office,
has grown steadily from the beginning, eventually making
San
Diego it's corporate office headquarters and opening branch
offices in Hawaii and Nevada. During this time, the
company has acquired licenses in Oregon, Florida, Utah,
Nevada and Colorado for further expansion in the future. Since
the beginning, we have provided personalized service to
our
customers.
The company has steadily increased the volume of loans in
production, with an average of one hundred loans per month
in 1999. The increase in loans can be linked directly to
expanding the services offered. In 1987 the company
focused primarily on conventional first mortgages and refinances. With
the availability of new loan programs in recent years, we
now offer a much broader range of programs and services form
conforming and non-conforming lenders, which allows us to
offer our services to a wider range of borrowers now and
in the future.
